Abstract

The formation of a new area to encompass health on a planetary scale requires the consideration of the multiplicity of agents and territories involved. The insertion of different social segments and correlated political and epistemic diversity, in the processes of constitution of Global Health (GS), is presented as a necessary condition for addressing transnational issues, in the search for global health equity. Based on the Meeting of Knowledges (MK), conditions will be created for the sharing and debate of formulations and practices, originating from the confrontation of the Covid-19 pandemic, of matrices of thought of traditional peoples. For this, an online course on the subject will be created, to be taught by four masters with the title of notorious knowledge. The preparatory audiovisual record and the one actually broadcast in the course (and the interaction with the students) will be transcribed, constituting material to be worked with the masters in the final production of a digital book. The latter plus the field diary and the audiovisual records will constitute a corpus to be analyzed in the light of MK and the interaction with the agents directly involved. It is expected that the process and the final product will support the constitution of an inclusive Global Health and permeable to differences and inequalities, also offering subsidies to the advancement of theory and practice of participation in research in general and of MK in particular.
