Abstract

With the goal of opening new empirical and theoretical connections for a research process of more than 10 years in Amazon borders, a Direct Doctoral student will perform a multissited and online/offline ethnographic-based research on sociotechnical networks of care and knowledge deployed by colectives of racialized peripheral women (black, indigenous, non-white ou "regional"), in contexts critically affected by global syndemic processes and economic and environmental deterritorialization, particularly in the city of São Paulo (SP) and in the city of Altamira (PA). We aim to give especial attention to the relationships these groups build with "nature" and environmental conditions, technology, cosmopolitical knowledge and with multiple ideas of racism in intersectional understandings in order to (re)make worlds and ways of inhabit them. The student must participate in Knowledge Meetings (Encontros de Saberes) and Future-building Workshops (Oficinas de Composição de Futuros) in Altamira and São Paulo, as well as in the production of a Transmedia Platform that will be created for the project, and in training processes with students from the Faculty of Public Health at USP. The student will have the opportunity to develop an excellent training process and their research skills, seek international partnerships and internships, collaborate with a heteroclite and interdisciplinary team of researchers and collaborators, and publicize important research results.
