Abstract

This project proposes the development of a system for monitoring and analyzing the equipment for water utilities. Around 80 to 90% of the energy spent by water utilities involves pumping water. The system will be responsible for measuring the electrical energy consumption of different types of equipment together with the measurement of the energy efficiency of the pump through the thermodynamic method, thus enabling the generation of KPI for each equipment and allowing the optimization of the use of these equipment's.The present project proposes the development of advanced functionalities for the monitoring and analysis of energy efficiency for equipment to the water utility sector. Around 80 to 90% of the energy spent by water companies involves pumping water. The present project will have as main objective the development of analysis functionalities, such as the identification of empty pumping (which can damage the pump) for the water sector. The development of these features will occur using data from sensors being developed by the company, thus allowing new features. (AU)
