Abstract

The Faculty of Medical Sciences (FCM) of the State University of Campinas (Unicamp) is a teaching and research unit made up of undergraduate courses in Medicine and Speech Therapy, Medical Residency and Postgraduate Programs. Its annual scientific production has placed it among the best colleges in Latin America. In 2020, for example, there were 101 doctoral defenses, 180 master's defenses, 1080 scientific articles were published in refereed specialized journals, 149 books/chapters were published and 26 complete works were published in Annals of Congresses. This production is based on the activity of 100 laboratories, where clinical and translational research protocols are developed, as well as in animal and cellular models.The present plan is therefore intended to maintain and improve the working conditions of these laboratories to reach even higher levels in the international scientific community.
