Abstract

The Visiting Researcher Prof. Luis Orlindo Tedeschi will collaborate in the research projects being developed by the group, which mainly involve the use of co-products and additives in the diet of beef cattle in tropical pastures and also in confinement. The projects evaluate metabolic parameters, ingestive behavior, ruminal parameters, animal performance, consumption and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. The Visiting Researcher will also give a workshop on RNS (Ruminant Nutrition System) and LRNS (Large Ruminant Nutrition System) and a course on modeling in ruminant nutrition entitled "Introduction to System Dynamics for Animal Production".
