Abstract

Currently, in most industrial machines it is necessary to apply lubricants in order to guarantee the proper functioning without harming the internal structure of the equipment. Most of the time, these lubricants used are mineral-based, which may not end up being very advantageous because they are not renewable resources. toxic, can perform as well as mineral oils. From this, this project consists of studying the properties of vegetable lubricants compared to minerals in questions regarding the operation and efficiency of the equipment with such greases, so experimental data will be collected and the method with Negative Selection Algorithm will be applied in the classification of data from vegetable-based greases (synthesized soybean oil) comparing them with commercial mineral-based grease lubricating industrial machines using bioengineering principles. This is a proposal containing a new approach to classifying lubricants based on the artificial immune system. (AU)
