Abstract

In this project we propose to develop a joint research on some quasilinear elliptic problems involving the (1,q)-Laplacian operator, which consists in the limit of (p,q)-Laplacian problems, as p converges to 1. In general, the solutions of this kind of problem are used to have more regularity than those ones of 1-Laplacian problems. This allows us to study them in usual Sobolev spaces. Also, we will be interested in double phase type problems, when the parameter p goes to 1. In this project, we propose some exchange activities between the researchers from Brazil and from Germany, in order to share their experiences in this field and contribute to the ongoing research carried out by both in their institutions.
