Abstract

This proposal seeks to straighten the research and academic collaborations between Unicamp and Uniandes in the areas of magnetism and strongly correlated materials. In particular, the funding provided will allow the visit of a professor from Uniandes to work at Unicamp for four months in cutting-edge research. Several magnetic techniques and growth facilities will be used to understand the driving mechanism behind magnetic transitions and phase separation phenomena in transition metal oxide samples. Academic activities (courses, seminars and colloquiums) are planned to enrich the physics curriculum at Unicamp and Uniandes. (AU)
