Abstract

The Faculty of Medical Sciences (FCM) at the State University of Campinas (Unicamp) is a teaching and research unit made up of undergraduate courses in Medicine and Speech Therapy, Medical Residency and Postgraduate Programs. Its annual scientific production has ranked among the best faculties in Latin America. In 2021, for example, there were 97 doctoral defenses, 133 master's defenses, 992 scientific articles were published in specialized journals refereed, 142 books/chapters published and 14 complete works published in Congress Annals, 586 participations in Congresses and other events. This production is based on the activity of 100 laboratories, where clinical and translational research protocols are developed as well as animal models and cell phones. This plan therefore aims to maintain and improve the working conditions of these laboratories to reach even higher levels in the international scientific community. (AU)
