Abstract

This project aims to build and validate a prototype of a multifunctional platform for the company Endless Green. This structure will provide a methodology for valuing PES (Payment for Environmental Services), as well as making access to the voluntary carbon market a comprehensive and inclusive process. Currently, the high certification/project costs make this market elitist, limiting access to a few actors. Thinking about overcoming these difficulties, an innovative and accessible methodology is being validated, using Information Technology (IT) as a tool to maximize data collection and minimize the costs involved. In addition to the perspective of carbon sequestration, other environmental variables are also considered, such as: the preservation of water, biomes and native species, in addition to the adoption of low-carbon agriculture practices to minimize environmental impacts. Another factor that is taken into account are the social aspects that seek to enhance the participation of communities and promote social sustainability in the areas involved in ESG. It is hoped that the results achieved in this phase can contribute to giving continuity to a possible phase II. The Group expects to make the company one of the benchmarks in the carbon market and contribute to improving these aspects on the national scene. (AU)
