Abstract

Real-time access to the internet and intranet are essential for instrumental monitoring, data management, and information sharing between laboratories and supporting analytical platforms. The requested resources will be used to acquire equipment to improve the connectivity of the data network, in order to allow access by all laboratories of the Boldrini Research Center, which concentrates the research activities of the Boldrini Children's Center. You will purchase: I. Wi-Fi routers: routers will be used to adapt the network for better performance. Currently, connectivity for work is limited, and the Wi-Fi signal does not reach all laboratories, especially in the animal facility, making researchers' work difficult. Cost: 21 x R$1,100 = R$23,100.00II. Manageable 48-port switches: the switches/network will be used to adapt and resize the data network structure to better serve all laboratories and the animal facility. Cost: 1 x R$2,450.00 = R$2,450.00III. Tablets for use in the Animal Experimentation Unit at the Boldrini Research Center: the tablets will optimize the work in the animal facility that depends on animal monitoring software. This activity requires access to the Wi-Fi network. The tablets will allow information to be recorded in real time, improving processes and the quality of animal experimentation.
