Sub-Riemannian geometry on homogeneous spaces: A control theoretical approach.

Abstract

This proposal's main objective is to advance in the knowledge of the relationship between control systems, sub-Riemannian geometry, and geometry of homogeneous spaces. It will also serve to strengthen the relationship between the visiting researcher and the research group in geometry, dynamical systems, and Lie theory at IMECC, whose collaboration is described through publications and recent/currently supervision of PhDs students. Moreover, it is in consonance with the research group in geometry, dynamical systems, and Lie theory at IMECC through the projects "Geometry of Control, Dynamical and Stochastic Systems", Fapesp Thematic grant number 2018/13481-0 and FAPESP Regular Grant 2023/13131-8 (PI Lino Grama).
