POSTGRADUATE RESEARCH SUPPORT CENTER OF METHODIST UNIVERSITY OF SÃO PAULO (NAP-UMESP)

Abstract

The Research Support Center (NAP) will constitute a space whose main objective is support and organize regular activities (notably postgraduate research, groups study, lectures and seminars) that allow the promotion, development and/or dissemination investigations (ongoing or completed) of Stricto Sensu postgraduate courses at UMESP. The Laboratory will have two complementary functions: an internal dimension to the UMESP, with activities restricted to members of the Stricto Sensu postgraduate course and others, public, with open and widely publicized activities. Internally, its activitieswill focus on aggregating research professors and postgraduate students with common research interests. The public dimension of the NAP will be aimed at offering regular lectures given by professors from UMESP PPGs or by external guests (open and widely publicized). With theseevents, bring researchers from different institutions to the PPGs/UMESP who, presenting the results of their investigations, allow students and teachers get to know and discuss the most recent production (often still in progress) of areas related to postgraduate courses offered by UMESP.
