Abstract

Continuing the Resource Allocation Plan presented to FAPESP in 2020, the present Institutional Project for the Research Infrastructure of the USP Physics Institute was reviewed and adapted to current needs. This infrastructure project was approved by the IFUSP Congregation on March 28, 2024. Investments are planned in the IFUSP Computing Center, with an emphasis on the security of the wired and wireless network, updating the wireless network, improving the datacenter with a system exhaust, changing UPS batteries and air conditioning maintenance. We are also planning other measures aimed at the safety and quality of research facilities at the Institute, such as adapting the floor of the Open Laboratory of Nuclear Physics and Applications, liquid nitrogen contract, collective contract for maintenance of air conditioners in research areas (1 year) and consumables for the Central Mechanical Workshop.
