Abstract

Construction of a compact tertiary treatment system consisting of a reactor with a bed made of ozonated green adsorbent, operating in a downward batch flow. The adsorbent will be made from waste generated in ceramic companies. Ozone application will be intermittent. The construction method of the reactor will allow for the direct application of ozone on the adsorbent, providing better operation, maintenance, and treatability. All these aspects could represent a lower cost of production, operation, and maintenance. (AU)
