Abstract

This RTI, in the amount of R$ 1,327,048.00 (one million, three hundred and twenty-seven thousand reais) corresponds to the IMT's share of the participation in the thematic project related to the construction of the Giant Magellan Telescope ( GMT) carried out by several institutions in the State of São Paulo (Process nº 11/51680-6). It is proposed to adapt the computing infrastructure of the Mauá Institute of Technology to the current requirements of computational capacity necessary for the development of research. To this end, the acquisition of modules for the expansion of the high-performance computer is proposed. The expansion of the computational infrastructure will allow the development of research in several IMT groups at the same level as national and international educational institutions of excellence. The research groups at the Mauá Institute of Technology to benefit will be: Intelligent Mechatronic Systems and Robotics (SMIR), Embedded Electronic Systems Center (NSEE) and Internal Combustion Engines and Vehicles.
