Abstract

The presente proposal envisions the aquisition of a Luminex 200 equipment as a platform to identify and Analyse up to 100 analites (proteins in biological samples) simultâneos per well, in substitution for traditional western blot techniques. The platform works with custom made or comercial kits, that allow a complete investigation of diverse molecular contexts like signaling pathways, imunological resposes, virolgy, câncer, metabolismo, neursciences, toxicity among many other applications. Furhtermore biological sample include urine, blood, cell lysates , culture supernatants and many others. In Campinas there are currently only 3 heavly overdemanded equipmanets of this kind. This kind of equipment is used by many international competitive groups since it allows massive parallel data aquisition, allowing high impact , cutting edge publications. (AU)
