Abstract

This Multi-User Equipment repair proposal is presented with a view to exchanging the laser set of the Confocal Fluorescence Microscope - Zeiss - LSM 700, which currently makes up the equipment park at the University of Vale do Paraíba. The institution is located in São José dos Campos, in Vale do Paraíba - SP, allowing access for researchers from the SP region, as well as from other regions. The equipment was purchased with project funds approved by FINEP, in 2015, and has been widely used by researchers at the institution and institutions such as UNESP and UNIFESP, in different areas of study, proven by the publications presented in the project. The need to change the lasers was noted during periodic maintenance of the equipment, carried out in 2023 by the company ZEISS. The approval of this proposal for repair will allow the continuation of projects that are in progress, by researchers from the proposing institution and researchers from partner institutions. (AU)
