Abstract

This study aims to investigate the presence of the natural uranium isotopes 234U and 238U in groundwaters from different aquifer systems occurring at Pardo River watershed (SP), with the purpose of increasing the previous information acquired by Bonotto in 2013, in which occasion the mixing processes focused the Guarani, Bauru and Serra Geral aquifer systems, without taking into account the possible contributions of the Tubarão aquifer system. For such purpose, sampling will be done for groundwaters providing from deep tubular wells different of those already focused by Bonotto in 2013, which were drilled at UGRHI-17 and other UGRHIs nearby. Additionally, sampling will be also done in the recharge areas (outcrop) of formations related to different aquifer systems. (AU)
