Abstract

This proposal is based on the request for funding of the expenditure related to the scientific technical visit of the researcher Prof. Dr. Fátima Morales Marín, professor of the Department of Preventive Medicine and Public Health of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Seville - US, Seville, Spain. The contact with Prof. Fátima occurred through an internationalization internship that occurred through the Institutional Internationalization Program (PrInt) of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel Foundation (CAPES) of the University of São Paulo (USP) that the proponent of this proposal carried out between 2023 and 2024 at US. During this internship, two research projects were developed: the first was the application of an instrument used in the Brazilian context, entitled "COVID-19 Social Thermometer: Social Opinion", which is intended to be validated for the Spanish context, aiming at its application with Roma women in the city of Seville; The second project is a project submitted to the European Union consortium - ULYSEUS, entitled "Access to health for women in transit: with a focus on sexual and reproductive health", which will include the names of the proponent of this proposal as a collaborating researcher, as well as the design of the research project Comprehensive health care and social assistance for women in transit to be developed in Brazil in line with the larger research developed in Europe and other countries around the world. In addition to Professor Fátima as a collaborating researcher, the research project in Brazil includes researchers from the Ribeirão Preto School of Medicine (FMRP-USP) and the Ribeirão Preto School of Nursing at the University of São Paulo (EERP-USP). Thus, Professor Fátima's visit will take place to begin the process of cross-cultural validation of the instrument "COVID-19 Social Thermometer: Social Opinion" in Spain, in addition to promoting the Women in Transit project, Brazil version. Professor Fatima has already made a first visit to the University of São Paulo in 2024, in which an agreement was signed between the University of Seville and FMRP-USP, as well as an outline of the research project Women in Transit was prepared, which will now be developed and submitted to a research funding agency (AU)
