Abstract
The ANP SENAI CIMATEC PRH program began in 2013 with the approval of PRH55. Starting in 2018, the program was renamed PRH27.1, and it is currently in its final cycle, which is scheduled to end in 07/2025. During this period, the program has stood out for its relevance in qualifying professionals to work in the energy sector, specifically in key areas such as oil, natural gas, biofuels, renewable energies, energy transition, decarbonization, and first- and second-generation petrochemicals. With the conclusion of the current cycle, PRH27.1 became eligible for the new ANP call for proposals. The main objective of the program in this new phase is to qualify undergraduate and graduate students to act competitively and innovatively in the energy market, both in its traditional branches and in newer ones, such as renewable energy and technologies aimed at energy transition and decarbonization. The specific objectives of PRH27.1 focus on developing advanced technical skills and preparing professionals with both a technical and entrepreneurial profile, covering the following areas: (i) Development of advanced technical competencies: The program aims to train students with an emphasis on Exploration, Development, and Production of oil, natural gas, and biofuels. This training process focuses on the application of emerging technologies and sustainable practices, which are essential for working in a sector that is in constant transformation. Emphasis is placed on adapting to new market demands and integrating innovative solutions, such as energy transition and the use of alternative energy sources; (ii) Training for decarbonization and sustainable practices: One of the focal points of PRH27.1 is preparing students to face the challenges of decarbonizing the energy sector. This involves the development of technological and strategic solutions aimed at reducing carbon emissions and improving energy efficiency. The program also includes sustainable practices that are fundamental to the transformation of the energy industry and adaptation to new environmental requirements; (iii) Development of an entrepreneurial profile: Recognizing the importance of innovation for sector development, PRH27.1 includes modules focused on project management and innovation in the curriculum. These areas are essential for fostering an entrepreneurial profile, enabling students to identify new opportunities within the energy sector, create innovative and sustainable solutions, and meet the growing demand for clean and efficient energy; (iv) Integration between theory and practice: The program prioritizes the integration of academic training with practical experiences. To achieve this, PRH27.1, whenever possible, aligns the work themes of its scholarship holders with PD&I projects from ANP and other operators connected to SENAI CIMATEC. In this way, the students have the opportunity to tackle real practical challenges alongside the oil, natural gas, and biofuel industries. Additionally, technical visits and partnerships with companies in the energy sector are organized. This approach provides students with the opportunity to experience the challenges and opportunities of the energy industry, preparing them to act effectively and critically regarding the future of the sector; (v) Expansion of opportunities in the job market: PRH27.1 is also dedicated to expanding professional opportunities for its students by creating networking opportunities with companies and professionals from the energy industry. The program establishes channels for entering the job market, allowing its graduates to occupy technical, operational, and management positions across various areas of the energy sector, contributing to the transformation and innovation of the sector both in Brazil and globally. The new cycle of the program promises to continue this trajectory, preparing new professionals for the challenges and opportunities of the future of energy. (AU)
