Abstract
Property inspections play a crucial role in accurately assessing the value and condition of a property before any commercial transaction, whether for sale, rental, handover of a new property, or even for short-term rentals. By ensuring the integrity of the property and identifying potential defects, inspections provide security and peace of mind to all parties involved, including owners, financial institutions, insurers, real estate agents, landlords, and tenants. However, the reliance on human intervention in inspection processes still presents challenges, potentially leading to delays, uncertainties in report preparation, and reduced effectiveness of the results obtained. To overcome this obstacle, Hauseful is committed to developing an innovative solution for property inspections, integrating advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities. This project aims to create an application dedicated to the analysis of property inspections, leveraging Hauseful's expertise and utilizing AI technologies to automate and improve the accuracy and efficiency of inspections. To achieve this, the Design Science Research (DSR) methodology will be employed, guiding the development of innovative artifacts through iterative research and testing cycles. Studies will be conducted to identify the best techniques to be used, as well as tests and validation of AI algorithms in computer vision and report generation. To accomplish the project's goals, a multidisciplinary team of experts from various fields will be assembled. This collaborative and specialized approach will ensure the development of a comprehensive and robust solution to meet the needs of the real estate market. Expected outcomes include greater precision, standardization, and agility in inspections, improving the quality of reports and enhancing the user experience in the real estate market. (AU)
