Abstract

This collaborative proposal leverages unique and complementary strengths in thin-film synthesis (Godoy), advanced impedance diagnostics (Hartmann), and theoretical modeling (Lopez Richard) to tackle a complex and timely scientific challenge: the design of oxide-based memristive sensors. For such task, Na-doped ZnO is the employed platform, considering its rich surface activities related to REDOX reactions and the memory signatures that produce intriguing memristive behaviors. Some approaches in material engineering and electrical contacts designs will be worked on to enhance or mitigate the phenomenology, with appropriate theoretical support. Through shared infrastructure, knowledge, and researcher mobility, the team is well-positioned to generate impactful results and foster lasting institutional cooperation. (AU)
