Abstract

The research aims to analyze the context and functioning characteristics related to Primary Care Multidisciplinary Teams (eMulti) and the management of the care they produce in the health regions of the State of São Paulo. It consists of an evaluative study using mixed methods - quantitative and qualitative sequential - of the performance of Primary Care Multidisciplinary Teams (eMulti) in two health regions of the State of São Paulo, one of which is part of the Regional Health Department (DRS) of Franca and the other of the DRS of Presidente Prudente. The quantitative approach will use secondary data from official systems to map indicators such as composition, coverage, demand, care and integration of eMulti. The qualitative dimension, based on the Paideia Praxis perspective, will involve participant observation and interviews with professionals, managers and users, seeking to understand practices, challenges and strategies in health care. The analysis will be based on thematic analysis. The expected results of the research involve identifying difficulties in the management and care of multidisciplinary teams (e-Multi), focusing on access methods, work organization and operating conditions. The aim is to characterize the teams in the regions studied, analyze management strategies, identify challenges and successful experiences, and develop technical recommendations to improve their performance. The findings will be disseminated through reports, articles, seminars and educational materials. A document with proposals for training and continuing education will also be produced, aiming to strengthen Primary Health Care (PHC) in the SUS, through dialogue and collaboration with local stakeholders and managers.
