Abstract
This research project on aristotelian philosophy is meant to scrutinize his main theses on ethics and metaphysics, aiming to evince the conceptual relationships they have one with the other. This requires a deep understanding of the core of the metaphysical decisions Aristotle took in order to develop his philosophical system, particularly the rôle reason has in its different uses - as theoretical, practical and productive reason. Major topics belonging to the physical treatises and to logics will also be examined, for they have an important part in the conceptual framework of aristotelian philosophy. The research team consists of five university professors of philosophy, all of them currently engaged in discussing topics of aristotelian and ancient greek philosophy. (AU)
