Abstract

This concerns a thematic project aimed at a petrological, geochemical and metalogenetic study of the main types of mafic and ultramafic associations and associated mineralizations. Areas were selected in Brazil and Argentina. Four types of suites were selected: mafic dykes, mafic-ultramafic complexes, periodotitic nodules and metamorphized suites. The research has academic and applied objectives. (AU)
