Abstract

The present project aims to investigate the effect of the inhibition of the synthesis of nitric oxide, occurring in a chronic manner, in models of severe and chronic inflammation, as well as trying to evaluate its hemodynamic repercussions. Both laboratories have been working together for approximately 3 years, this being a collaboration which resulted in the publication of two papers in international magazines (American Journal of Physiology and Hypertension), as well as several abstracts in international and national conferences.
