Abstract

Onco-hematological illnesses have been re-evaluated recently in the light of new prognostic factors which will emerge from recently obtained knowledge about the biology of these disturbances. We intend to analyze new prognostic factors in myeloma and lymphoproliferations by means of cytogenetics, immunophenotyping and molecular biology, correlating these with classic factors (clinical findings, staging, cytomorphology) between themselves, with response to chemotherapy and survival expectancy.
