Abstract

Extract from leaves and roots of Piperaceae species will be scored and tested to adults and eggmasses at the different stages of the development of Biomphalaria glabrata: first cleavages (0-15h after first cleavage), gástrula (24-30h), young trochophore (48-54h), trochophore (72-78h), young veliger (96-112h). Following parameters will be analysed: mortality, embryonic malformation and from each active substancies will be calculated the CL50. Selected active extracts will be dereplicated by chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques looking at determination of active compounds. (AU)
