Abstract

In the mental health field, we can find different kinds of hospital services. All of them have common clinical concern: the patient, their family and the health care team. Effectiveness studies found in the literature use the following measures: cost saving, psychopathological improvement,, consulter's concordance with consultants recommendation. The three vertices do not involve. Our goal is to identify the plausibility of new clinical indicators by exploring the constructs; for instance: patient well-being improve, diminish family and health care team burden. To .do so, we will conduct a transversal study, with a randomized sample of 92 beds. The bed represents 1 patient, 1 relative, 1 physician and 1 nurse. We will use the Subjective Well-Being Inventory for the patient, the Critical Care Family Needs Inventory for the relative and the Difficult to Help Scale to the professionals. Each constructs will be analyzed in relation to patient's demographic, clinical and psychopathogical data. The variability of the constructs in relation of the controls will give us the plausibility of each one in the general hospital. (AU)
