Abstract

To make a comprehensive register of Police Criminal Records/DEOPS (1924-1983) with the aim of producing a data/image base to be placed at the disposal of those consulting the State archives and researchers; to identify the documents according to the typology inherent to police documents; to produce guide manuals for researchers; to offer the opportunity for research and monitored placement in the DEOPS collection; to program and manage a research laboratory suitable for the training of a historian; application of a methodology of analysis and the discussion of possible routes for the interpretation of iconographic sources; to make operational this model through the setting up of an image bank.
