Abstract

The objective of the project is to develop methods of integration of remote sensing techniques, image processing, spatial statistics and geoprocessing to understand, quantify and model the spatio-temporal dynamic and the patterns of circulation of different types of water on the Amazon flood plain. The previous research created an exploratory campaign, the result of which enabled the outlining of the experiment to be carried out in four subsequent campaigns. (AU)
