Abstract

Changes of consumers’ profile, associated with risks of contamination by agrotoxics, have been conduced to alternatives ecologically appropriated for fruit production. The objectives of this research are: to characterize agronomic and morphologically the mango varieties studied, organically conduced; to evaluate the behavior of varieties as to the presence of diseases and pests, and to determine the susceptibility, tolerance and resistance of varieties to these diseases. The experiment will be development at APTA – Pólo Regional Centro Norte, in Pindorama, SP. Seventeen varieties of mango will be grafted on Manile (Carabao) mango tree variety. The experiment will be installed in randomized blocks, with 17 treatments and four replications. It will be done the monitoring of diseases and pests of orchard. Growing, development and phenologic cycle will be parameters evaluated for study of behavior of mango trees. The fruits of each variety will be evaluated as to physical measures and chemical composition. (AU)
