Abstract

We want to create a SDSS Catalog Archive Server mirror site to support the study of several problems associated to the galaxy populations in large scales. These projects include: the spectral synthesis of galaxy populations, the search for fossil and compact groups of galaxies, automatic morphological classification, and the evolution of brightest cluster galaxies. This system will operate as a virtual observatory supporting the activities of our research group and will be open to our astronomical comunity. (AU)
