Abstract

Objectives: among medical student, suicide figures as a major cause of death. Several studies report that physicians have higher suicide rates than general population and other activities. There are a paucity of studies foccusing in patterns of cognitive profile among suicide in medical students.We aimed to discuss whether there are particularities between suicide in medical students. Method: we aimed to evaluate the suicide risk among students with anonimous auto-aplication of the Beck Suicide inventary (BSI), Beck Depressive invetary (BDI), Beck Anxiety Inventary (BAI) and Beck Hopelessness Scale(BHS)in 400 medical students, and compare to 200 nursing students and 200 pharmaceutical students from FMABC. The statistical analysis will be performed with the SPSS software for Windows. (AU)
