Effect of Bacillus subtilis and exogenous enzymes on performance of broilers chickens and its action on excreta in biogas production, using the concept of clean energy

Abstract

Two trials will be conducted at the Faculty of Agriculture and Veterinary Sciences, Jaboticabal, to evaluate the performance, carcass and parts yield, bone densitometry, morphometry intestinal, bioavailability of nitrogen and phosphorus, production of broiler litter, determination of chemical composition of the litter of the production of dejections in nature" and dry matter and the potential for biogas production of broiler chickens fed diets containing Bacillus subtilis and exogenous enzymes. The first experiment will be used 800 chicks (Cobb®) in 32 boxes of a completely randomized design with 4 treatments (control, addition of exogenous enzymes, addition of Bacillus, Bacillus + exogenous enzyme) by 8 repetitions of 25 birds each. The second experiment will consist of 4 treatments of 4 replicates distributed in a completely randomized design. The litter and excreta from the first experiment will be use in this trial. The broiler litter should be produced in two parts, one for the supply of batch digesters, allowing the evaluation of the potential for biogas production. The other part of bed will be stored and divided into 60 parts, each of which is a daily charge of continuous digesters. By these procedures, data will be allowing knowledge of the effects of enzymes and Bacillus on the potential of biogas for use in the form of peak production (batch digesters) and continuously (digesters daily loads). These data are particularly important for the design of anaerobic systems. The data will be analyzed using SAS ® (SAS Institute, 2002) in both experiments. (AU)
