Abstract

The present work has for objectives investigate, by means of the scanning electron microscopy, the presence of leptospiras in bovine´s maturate oocytes during 24 hours in atmosphere of 5% of CO2, in media of maturation experimentally contaminated with Leptospira interrogans serovar Pomona, and to analyze the possible extreme-structural alterations and the capacity of penetration of leptospiras in the oocytes by means of the transmission electron microscopy. As well as searching the presence of DNA of Leptospira spp. in the follicular liquid of slaughter cows by means of the PCR technique, making use of primers Lig 1 and Lig 2. (AU)
