Abstract

The Tuberculosis patients constitute a special group, because, besides the health needs, they have special needs, this because the population assault, in general, has characteristics of belong to the subordinate layers, what can be considered potential for treatment abandonment. The general goal of this study is to know the health needs of tuberculosis patients and to identify in the working processes, the forms and instruments for the recognition and facing of these needs to population, with the purpose of supporting professionals' family front health practices to the Tuberculosis control actions. It is an exploratory and descriptive study, using the qualitative and quantitative approaches. Like data collection technique, it will be used interview and patients records to relate to epidemic situation. The analysis of the referring data to the epidemic situation of the tuberculosis patients and health workers characterization, will be supported in descriptive results. The thematic map will be studied, showing the spatial distribution of the Tuberculosis cases, will be done using the software MapInfo. (AU)
