Analysis of hand muscle synergism alterations during the hand grip after traumatic injuries

Abstract

The hand is one of most delicate and specialized organs of body human. Because its main function, the grip, the hand is able to grasp with force, as well as, to hold and to manipulate littlies and delicates objects. However, hand traumatic injuries are often and can arm the grip and to modify the profession, domiciliary, sportive and leisure activities of subject. To recover the hand grip function is the mainly objective for rehabilitation of theses subjects. Therefore, the objective of this study is to evaluate and to compare the activity and synergism muscle of wrist extensors and finger flexors in health subjects and in subjects after surgical repair of hand traumatic repairs through of electromyography analysis during hand grip task.
