Abstract

The experimental realization of BEC in atomic traps has attracted much attention due to technological possibilities. This issue has relavance in information technology and new precison and navigation instruments. In our case we have worked a series of studies on condensate dynamics, some of them with international repercussion at JILA group (Boulder-Colorado), like the critical numbers and more recently shock waves. This studies will proceed with new studies of shock waves through eleongated obstacles, interaction of solitons with time dependent nonlinearity, BEC in presence of optical lattice and unbalanced fermions.
