Abstract

Psoriasis is an inflammatory multifactorial dermatosis, squamous and erythematous, which has a wide and diverse clinical presentation, all over any skin surface. The objective of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of topic use of clobetasol nail lacquer in patients with vulgar psoriasis diagnosis. The method applied will be a comparative analysis, double-blind, between two patients groups, prescribing a nail lacquer vehicle to one and ointment vehicle to the other. The active substance will be used on affected areas of a half of the body, comparing with the single vehicle application on the other side. Throughout the study, life quality forms will be applied to measure the effects, with scales to evaluate lesions extension and its progress/regress. Data will be statistically analyzed by Q squared test and Spearman correlation test. (AU)
