Abstract

The fungi of the Reserva Biológica de Paranapiacaba (RBP) are practically unkown. Few papers mention species from the Reserve (Favolaschia amoene-rosea P. Henn., Calliderma fibulata Karstedt & Capelari, inedited and C. pruinatocutis (Horak) Karstedt & Capelari comb, nov., in-edited) and at the Herbarium SP only 19 species collected there are deposited. Considering this ignorance, the purpose of this proposal is to realize the species survey of the Order Agaricales improving the knowledge of the biodiversity of São Paulo State and Brazil, studying the collected materials, including the proposition of new species to science and to graduate taxonomists in basidiomycetes. The proposal will be developed with intense collecting trips one or two times per month. The collected material will be identified based on morphological macro and micro characters of the basidioma and also by sequences of some genes (especially ITS and nLSU). (AU)
