Abstract

The research project has as objective evaluates the influence of the of liming in the sulfentrazone and imazapic leaching in Dystroferric Red Latosol (clay texture) and the persistence of these same herbicides applied in field during the period of 9 months. The leaching experiment will consist of the spraying sulfentrazone (800 g a.i ha-1) and imazapic (210 g a.i ha-1) in the top of soil columns set up in PVC tubes. The studied soil was characterized chemically and it will receive different liming levels what will cause different final pH values. Will be simulated pluvial precipitations one day after application of the herbicides. The PVC tubes will be then dismounted for the sowing of the Cucumis sativus along the columns. The plants will be appraised to the 14 and 21 days after application of the treatments (DAT) as for the toxicity. In the persistence studies the treatments will constitute of applications in the sulfentrazone field (600 and 800 g a.i ha-1), imazapic (190 e 210 g a.i ha-1)and checks without herbicide. The methodology used in the determination of the persistence will be the bioensays, being used C. sativus as plant-test growing inside of a fitotron with the constant climatic conditions, using the soil collected 14 times in the experimental area up to 270 days after the treatments (DAT).
