Abstract

The proposed project for the next years aims to do a systematic study of magnetic, thermal and electrical transport properties in several interesting systems which show technological and scientific appealing. (1) Strong correlated systems with special attention on phase transition and critical phenomena. Two families are of interest: manganites, with strong correlated magnetic, structural and electronic properties; multiferroics which show coexistence of magnetic and electronic orderings; (2) Molecular magnetic materials; (3) Magnetic and metallic nanoparticles. Therefore, the aim of this project is to obtain financial support in order to build an infrastructure of preparing samples and buy basic instruments for the laboratory. (AU)
