Abstract

The project aims at mapping and analysing the main strategies and outcomes achieved by the so Brazilian info highways. The comparative study will use a fuzzy-set social science methodological approach in order to assess the data. The cities will be compared to an ideal type built upon specialized literature. During the project it is expected to have an online pilot observatory of such initiatives uploaded, but also to establish analytical categories which could be used by other researchers and public managers.
