Abstract

The general objective of this project is to undertake massive genome sequencing (whole genomes or ESTs) and annotation of organisms of agronomical or environmental importance in a coordinated manner during two years. The specific objectives are: to generate 1.000.000 reads of acceptable quality during 2 years from multiple projects; to sequence and annotate the genome of Xylella fastidiosa of grapevine; to sequence and annotate the genome of Leifsonia xyli subsp. xyli; to organize and develop other projects relevant to the area of AEG.
