Abstract

The general objective of this project is to undertake massive genome sequencing (whole genomes or ESTs) and annotation of organisms of agronomical or environmental importance in a coordinated manner during two years. The specific objectives are: To generate 1,000,000 reads of acceptable quality during 2 years from multiple projects. To sequence and annotate the genome of Xylella fastidiosa of grapevine. To sequence and annotate the genome of Liefsonia xyli subsp. xyli. To organize and develop other projects relevant to the area of AEG. (AU)
