Abstract

The multi-mode model that describes the fission process as a superposition of processes through different channels allows a very good description of the distribution of fission fragments. This model gives us a very good understanding of the dynamics of fission process and the role of nuclear structure. Our objective in this project is to include this dynamic in the Monte Carlo code CRISP, consider the case and determine the relevant parameters of the model. With that, we will include in the code CRISP the possibility of calculating the mass distribution of fission fragments, which opens the possibility to use this code in applications related to the study and development of nuclear reactors.
