Abstract

The objective of this proposal is to develop a software project for the analysis of the secondary effects of SAW filters with a high degree of side-lobe rejection and extremely low shape factor. Testing and refinement of the stages of the production process of filters for the latest generation cell phone repeaters will be carried out. The following propositions will be analyzed for use in this project: 1) new topology using sloping fingers to obtain desired response from the filter directly in the frequency domain; 2) new treatment of the reverse of the plate using grooves in saw-tooth configuration that guarantees the cancellation of volumetric waves in long band frequency; 3) new configuration of acoustic absorber to improve side-lobe rejection; and 4) analysis of the effects of micro-soldering on the electrical behavior of the filters. Samples should be produced based on the technologies developed and the results offered to potential customers in Brazil and abroad. (AU)
