Abstract

This project aims to develop a remote pollutant sensing system using the LIDAR technique which is the emission of a laser beam to the atmosphere and the reception of backscattered light by the atmosphere components. Initially, it is intended to develop a prototype that allows measuring vertical profile of particulate material present in the lower troposphere. The system to be designed can obtain data in the range of 300 to 3000m if measured vertically. (AU)
